At youth group a few months ago, we were discussing evolution. My friend had a very interesting theory about how inaccurate scientists can be. When archaeologists(sp?) find new bones, they only have a few ways of testing them to see how old they are. One technique they use is looking at how many layers of rock and soil to estimate how old it is, therefore figuring out how old the bone(s) is/are.
When Noah built the ark and the flood came, what do you think the other animals and people (who weren't on the ark) did? Most likely, they traveled as fast as they could to get to a higher altitude. So, those bones would be a lot "newer" than a scientist would conclude.
I just thought I should share that because I thought it was interesting. It made me think...
How about you guys? Agree? Disagree?
