No, we're older than 13. They don't have to ask; the student should take the responsibility to learn about it beforehand if it troubles them and tell their parent to write them a note. That's the way that it works at my school...only R-rated movies have to have signed parental slips. In fact, all of the movies that we watched this year were PG-13. There was nothing bad in them; there was just violence and swearing...but nothing that we haven't really seen or heard before.
