Nah, I think everyone's equally smart in their own way.

I think boys rule and girls drool.

Haha just kidding.

I don't really know. I know ALOT of smart girls and ALOT of smart boys. I just think us boys have a lack of wanting to do school work...

Like Hannah says, it depends on what your definition of "smart" is. There are several different forms of intelligence, and each sex have different forms that they seem to be better at.

Boys- They are better with visual/spatial skills. They also tend to have more logical intelligence being better in subjects like math, and the sciences.

Girls- When tend to have a bit more creative intelligence as well as linguistic intelligence. This makes them better with the communication arts, and simply art in general. They also score higher in interpersonal intelligence, meaning they they are more social (this should be no suprise).

This divide is shown really well with the old SAT scores. Females generally did better with the English/Grammatical section of it, while the males excelled in the Math portion.

I don't think that you can make this such a general topic.

"Smart" isn't concrete enough of a term--it's more of an opinion word.

I can be smarter than someone else, but I'm not intelligent. I can be an intelligent person but supposedly "not smart."

Personally, I think the question is who has the higher IQ. I think that boys have (generally) a higher IQ...but that's because most of the IQ tests that we've taken at my school deal with math and science, whereas there are more girls in the classes like history or English.
